Samantha is the owner and director of Raine and Shine Daycare. She is the main caregiver for the children and a mom of two, Russell and Penny. Samantha grew up working with children, when she was still a child herself. She always knew she would work with kids when she grew up. At a young age she volunteered at her mothers school with preschoolers and started babysitting at 13. When she was 17 she worked at Stoneleigh Elementary's afterschool program for 5 years. Samantha decided at 19 that she wanted to eventually open an in home daycare so she went to CCBC to get her 90hr certificate in childcare. She went on to nanny for the next 7 years until she and her husband purchased their home and made her dreams come true. Samantha is entering her 5th year of running Raine and Shine Daycare and is loving every minute of it! She even gets to share her days with her daughter, Penny, and fur baby, Turk!
