Raine and Shine Daycare opened its doors in 2017. It is a licensed in home family daycare in Towson located 2 minutes off of 695. There are 3 rooms solely dedicated to the children and a big back yard for lots of outdoor play. We are a play based center that does fun and creative art and activities throughout the school year modified to each child's individual age and skill.

Our philosophy is to let children be children. Let them play and learn through their play. While we do provide gentle themes occasionally and art, we believe in letting the children guide the day. Children learn best through making choices and interacting with one another. Our mantra here is "let's take a breath and talk about it."  We help our young ones to use their voice and learn the words they need to communicate with their peers. Here they will learn to express their emotions in a healthy way while also learning about empathy and of course, having fun along the way!

Our day includes singing, reading, art, dancing, playing outside, make believe, building, being creative, and so much more. There's even a weekly music class with Ms. Spice! Two snacks are provided daily for each child. Daily pictures and updates via the Brightwheel app helps keep parents involved in their little one's day!

Samantha has worked with children for over 10 years and is entering her 7th year running Raine and Shine Daycare. This has been a dream of hers from a young age and it is truly her passion in life.
